nPrime was incorporated in 2003 and started off trading goods in China and South East Asia.

The Company grew with the prosperous South East Asia economy and have been very successful in the trading business.

During the turbulent COVID period, the Company faced the need to cater to staffs' IT needs when working from home. The old accounting system supporting the Company was inadequate.

Facing challenges faced by many Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), we find the increasing need to digitalise our business, but the range of proprietary software available are costly and not flexible enough to meet our unique requirements.

We chanced upon an open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software - ERPNext. This software is affordable to implement and highly customisable to meet our unique requirements.

It took us 3 years to learn and implement in in our Company. The result was improved workflow that is resistant to work disruptions like remote work requirements, and better demand and supply awareness to better serve our customers.

Armed with this knowledge of 'open source advantage', we figure that there are many SMEs out there facing similar challenges like ours. We hope to share our know-how with them and help them grow their dreams!
